The cost of music has gone up. It now costs us close to $75 per new title for our group. We do our best to keep these costs low by purchasing only enough copies needed for each performance or by purchasing downloadable music.

Each program that we present and offer printed programs cost us about $100. We try to reduce expenses by offering QR codes that lead the listener to an electronic file. Occasionally there are other print materials we produce which add to print costs.

To offer a fuller and broader range of music to our audiences, we would like to add bass bells to our set. These bells come in bronze and/or aluminum with each bell costing $3500 or more.

As we add more bells, we need to also add additional equipment including more tables, pads and covers, along with mallets. We have a wide range of percussion instruments, but on occasion need something new or to replace broken pieces.

There are times when bells or chimes simply wear-out. When that happens we need to replace a casting, chime, the clapper mechanisms, springs or handles. These are part of our regular operating costs.
